Additionally, the Cabinet expressed its rejection of Houthi assaults on commercial vessels and international maritime navigation in the Red Sea.
The attacks have resulted in injuries to over 70 individuals, including women and children, across several Saudi cities. In response, the authorities have been instructed to ensure that those affected receive the highest level of medical care possible. This commitment to healthcare reflects the government’s resolve to support its people amid ongoing security challenges.
During the Cabinet session, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, the ministers also addressed developments in the Palestinian territories. They discussed ongoing Arab efforts to halt Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the expansion of settlements, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to regional stability and peace.
The meeting also highlighted recent diplomatic engagements, with the Crown Prince briefing ministers on his discussions with leaders from Egypt, Greece, and Oman. These talks are part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to strengthen regional alliances and cooperation.
Furthermore, the Cabinet welcomed the establishment of a strategic dialogue between the Saudi and German foreign ministries. This agreement aims to enhance consultation and coordination between the two countries, marking a significant step in bolstering international relations and fostering mutual understanding.
